Hi everyone, I hope you’re all fine by God’s grace. Happy Easter, Happy Resurrection day.
Before going on with today’s post, I would like to thank and congratulate each and everyone of you who faithfully read through the posts from ash Wednesday to today. It’s been a blessing to be encouraged by your likes, comments, and the private discussions. May God bless you all.
As from today, posts will be published once a week (Wednesday or Saturday) and on feast days (ex Christmas) God willing. Thanks alot for your support.
Today is a big day not only for all the Church of God in general, but for every single Christian out there. From lent to Easter, we’ve walked closer to The Lord day after day, by studying His Word, loving ourselves, loving our neighbors. Though this period is “finished”, in fact it’s just the beginning.
Everything Jesus Christ went through on the cross had a purpose, and everything you went through during this period of lent to Easter has a purpose. God is present, and He is at work.
After Jesus Christ’s death on the cross, the hopes of the disciples were shattered, but that was not the end.
Luke 24:17‭, ‬19‭-‬19‭, ‬21 NIV

He asked them, “What are you discussing together as you walk along?” They stood still, their faces downcast.  “What things?” he asked. “About Jesus of Nazareth,” they replied. “He was a prophet, powerful in word and deed before God and all the people. but we had hoped that he was the one who was going to redeem Israel. And what is more, it is the third day since all this took place.

Jesus Christ had told them in advance that He was going to be resurrected on the third day.
Mark 9:31 NIV

because he was teaching his disciples. He said to them, “The Son of Man is going to be delivered into the hands of men. They will kill him, and after three days he will rise.”

They hadn’t understood this promise, but He had told them in advance, and on the third day, He was faithful to the rendez-vous.
Luke 24:5‭-‬6 NIV

In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee:

No matter what you’re going through today, Jesus Christ keeps His Promises. You just need to search The Word and know the promises of God for you, pray and trust Him.
As we celebrate resurrection today, let’s know that it’s just the beginning. His last breath on The Cross was in fact our first breath into a new life. His resurrection is our new beginning. We have hope that the same God who resurrected Jesus Christ from the dead, will give us the grace to live our lives to the glory of His Name.
Colossians 2:12‭-‬15 NIV

having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through your faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.  When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.

God bless you all.
Happy Easter.

Father Lord God Almighty, thank You for all you’ve taught me during the season of lent to Easter. Please Lord help me trust You as I apply what I have learned in my daily life. Also, help me draw closer and closer to You, in Jesus Christ’s Name I pray. Amen
