Hi everyone, I hope you are all fine by God’S grace. Today’s post is about false prophets.
I guess we all have a favorite (or some favorite) preacher(s) we love to listen to. Even if we do not have one there is forcefully at least one person in our environment who preaches The Word of God.
There are so many blogs, websites, YouTube videosand pages online about false prophets. Some preachers/prophets are attacking others saying they do not belong to Christ. Many attack others’ ministries. Many attack churches and religions, singers and musicians who may really be out there for The Lord (or who may not).
So how are we gonna discern the truth from the lies?? How can we be sure that the preacher we are following , the musician we are listening to or even the person we are courting… how can we sure that they really belong to God.
Thankfully, The Bible talks about this. Let’s take a look
1. We MUST discern
1 John 4:1 KJV
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
We can’t just accept everybody because they talk about “spirituality”, or say nice words which all sound connected to God’S Word in one way or the other. We have to make sure that The Truth is spoken.
2. Jesus Christ is THE SON OF GOD MADE MAN
1 John 4:2-3 KJV
Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: [3] And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
1 John 4:15 KJV
Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
Conclusion
No matter how much someone preaches success, riches, perfection, abundance, miracles and breakthroughs, if that person doesn’t have the foundation, if that person doesn’t recognize that Jesus Christ is The Son of God, if that person doesn’t recognize that Jesus is God, if that person says beautiful things about Jesus Christ but doesn’t preach that He is our Saviour, that He died on the cross to wash away our sins and that God rose Him from the dead…. then that person is a false prophet.
Watch out, who are you listening to.
May God’S Holy Spirit give us discernment

Eternal Lord open my eyes and lead me that I may truly serve You and that I may discern and surround myself with people who truly serve You, I love You God and I thank You in Jesus Christ’S Name. Amen
