Day 8: We must look like Jesus Christ

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

II Corinthians 3:18 NKJV

Hello beloved of The Lord, you’re blessed and highly favoured.

Just as Jesus was able to say “anyone who has seen me has seen the Father” (John 14:8-9 NLT) you should be able to say “if you’ve seen me you’ve seen Jesus”.

We have to spend so much time with Him, reading His Word, worshipping Him such that when we’re out there, people don’t see us, they see Jesus Christ because we’ve been transformed into His same image. 

Many Christians don’t see God as their Father. They will call Him Father during prayer and worship but their thoughts, lifestyle, worries and attitude show that they don’t really believe that God is their Father. Acknowledge God as your Father. He has already adopted you, now it is time for you to accept His Fatherhood over you. 

Prayer:

• Lord Jesus Christ, I want to be like You, to think, speak and act like You. Help me to fellowship with You such that I am transformed into Your image. Amen

Assignment :

• Set apart 30 minutes today to behold the face of The Lord Jesus Christ, spend alone time with Him contemplating and worshipping Him. Make it a habit.
