Then David danced before the Lord with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod. Hello beloved of The Lord, you’re blessed and highly favoured.
Congratulations for making it to the end of this prayer and fasting program. The different things which you learned throughout the program weren’t meant to accompany you just for forty days but are meant to follow you all the days of your life.
If you look back through your journal, you’ll see that God did amazing things throughout these 40 days. Give Him thanks for that, dance and sing, rejoice in Him, let Him know and see that you’re very happy for all He has done for you. When you give thanks to God, you’re indirectly encouraging Him to continue multiplying His blessings towards you. He wants to see you happy, He wants your joy to be full, so if He “notices” that there’s something He did which made you so delighted that you danced, rejoiced and praised Him, as your Father He’ll know exactly which buttons to press everytime He wants to see you happy and dancing.
Don’t care about the people who will say that you’re dancing “too hard” for God and that you’re disgracing them. You’re dancing for God, not for them.
Prayer:
Thank You so much Lord for all what You’ve done for me throughout this fast, to You be all the glory, honour and praise in Jesus Christ’s Name. Amen
Assignment :
- Make a list of at least 10 things that God did for you throughout this program
- Play praise/Thanksgiving music loud in your house today and dance for God with joy for 30 minutes while giving thanks to God for those things
