Hello beloved of The Lord, you’re blessed and highly favoured.
When you look at the story of Jesus Christ in the Gospels, you will notice that He was never sick, not even once. When you read The New Testament, you should identify with Jesus Christ. The way He operated on earth is the way God expects us to operate on earth at least.
God’s ideal for us isn’t that we should get sick today, healed tomorrow and sick again next month so as to get healed afterwards. He wants us to walk in divine health constantly such that we never get sick. Just look at how much sickness can cost in terms of time, energy and even money. When you’re sick you’re not as effective as you should be in preaching the Gospel, healing the sick and casting out devils. You’re not as productive as you should be at work or in school. You can’t attend to the needs of your family members or even your own needs as you should when you’re sick. The goal isn’t to get healed and get sick in cycles, the goal is to walk in divine health everyday and if Jesus Christ operated at that level, it means we can do that to because He said the same works He did we shall do them too and even greater.
Don’t just aspire to healing, aspire to walking in Divine health like a son of God, a partaker of the Divine nature.
Prayer:
Father God, I want to operate at that level where I don’t fall sick and then get healed in cycles. I want to walk in divine health. Lord train me so that I get there and stay there in Jesus Christ’s Name. Amen
Assignment :
Get inspired by the story below, meditate on it and believe that divine health is possible for you:
John G. Lake healed the sick by laying hands on them during a plague (Bubonic plague) and people asked him what his secret was. He answered “The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. I believe that just as long as I keep my soul in contact with the living God so that His Spirit is flowing into my soul and body, that no germ will ever attach itself to me, for the Spirit of God will kill it. Doctor I think that you would like to experiment with me. If you will go over to one of these dead people and take the foam that comes out of their lungs after death, then put it under the microscope you will see masses of living germs. You will find they are alive until a reasonable time after a man is dead. You can fill my hand with them and I will keep it under the microscope, and instead of these germs remaining alive, they will die instantly.”
They tried it and found it was true. They questioned, “What is that?” John G. Lake replied, “That is the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. When a man’s spirit and a man’s body are filled with the blessed presence of God, it oozes out of the pores of your flesh and kills the germs.”
