Let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’

Joel 3:10c NKJV

Hello beloved of The Lord, you’re blessed and highly favoured.

The Bible tells us in ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭18:21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ that “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” We have so many beautiful teachings in the body of Christ about speaking positively. In fact, our God has taught us thoroughly about the “Culture of Blessing” through the book and teachings of our father Bishop Chris Raymond Ngwu.

Despite numerous teachings which we received on declaring positively over our lives, many Christians still curse themselves without even realising it. The opening verse says Let the weak say “I am strong”. Why would God tell the weak to say “I am strong”? Because there is a creative power attached to the words “I AM”. Whatever you think, say and believe that you are you will become. We’re not saying that you should deny that you’re weak, we’re saying you shouldn’t reinforce it by claiming that you’re weak. You should rather claim what you want to be. Declare the end result that you desire and it will happen in Jesus Christ’s Name.

Instead of constantly saying “I am sick, I have cancer” you can say “My medical doctors may have diagnosed cancer but the blood of Jesus Christ has spoken a better word over me, in The Name of Jesus Christ I am healed and my body is cancer-free”. The more you will claim it, see it and believe it, the more you will enter into that reality and you will see that it will happen.

Research shows that the average person says 7,000 words per day and has approximately 60,000 thoughts per day. Many Christians will say “I am healed” when they discuss with another Christian in Church or over the phone, this accounts for only three words. However, for the rest of the day, they will use 2000 words to say that they’re sick to whoever will listen and they will use 30,000 thoughts to meditate on how sick they are and they will even plan out their funeral in their minds. Why then will you be surprised when you don’t get healed but you instead get worse? The Bible tells us that what we sow we shall reap. If you really want to reap healing, you have to sow it everyday throughout the day through your words and your thoughts. Not just lip service in front of other believers, what do you say about your health when you’re alone, when you’re at home, when no one is there to correct your language or when you’re discussing with God. What do you say?

Prayer:

Father God I pray that You forgive me because I have reinforced negativity in my life by speaking negatively instead of declaring Your Word over my life by faith. Lord train me to think positively and speak positively. In Jesus Christ’s Name, I wipe out with the blood of Jesus Christ every negative word I ever said about my health and I decree and declare that I am healed in Jesus Christ’s Name. Amen
