Hello beloved of The Lord, you’re blessed and highly favoured.
Our Lord Jesus Christ never said that these signs (including casting out demons, healing the sick) would follow pastors or evangelists or apostles. He said these signs will follow those who believe. This is supposed to be the norm for every believer : healing the sick, raising the dead, casting out devils (Matthew 10:7-8 NKJV). The problem is that we do not believe it, as such we’ve pushed this responsibility over to pastors while we (believers) are all concerned.
Who is a believer? If you believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He was crucified for your sins, that He rose from the dead and that you surrendered your life to Him and He is now your Lord and Saviour, you are a believer. The healing power of God is in you. Stephen wasn’t an apostle, he wasn’t a pastor, his role in church was just to serve food at tables yet he did great signs and wonders amongst the people (Acts 6:3-8).
What are you waiting for to believe the Word? Step out and heal the sick, raise the dead and cast out devils. Why should there be sick people in your family while you carry in you the healing power of God? Why should you be sick when you carry in you the healing power of God?
Prayer:
Father in The Name of Jesus Christ, I choose to believe Your Word. I believe that these signs will follow me because I believe: In The Name of Jesus Christ I will cast out demons; I will speak with new tongues; I will take up serpents; and if I drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt me; I will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover. Amen
Assignment :
- Today (not tomorrow) minister healing to at least one sick person. How ? Declare the Word of God over them, command healing in their body, command sickness/disease to come out in Jesus Christ’s Name.
