Hello beloved of The Lord, you’re blessed and highly favoured. For the next days, we’ll talk about Kingdom Principles of Financial prosperity
Nowadays, many believers assume that tithing is an Old Testament principle and that it doesn’t apply to The New Covenant. As such, they don’t tithe. In fact for most of them, whatever they give to God never even amounts to up to 10% of their income.
The tithe is the first tenth percent of what you have/earn. By first tenth we mean that before you even spend it you first of all remove the share of God from it. Let’s give an easy example, if you earn 1000 fcfa, before doing any other thing with the 900 fcfa, you’re supposed to first of all set apart the 100 fcfa of God, the first ten percent. If you don’t make it a habit to remove/set apart the 10% of God before everything else, you will notice that you will always feel like the 90% are never enough and you’ll end up spending both the 90% and God’s 10%. By so doing, you will bring a curse upon your finances.
Many believers do not prosper in the Kingdom of God because they’re not systematic about setting apart God’s 10% and ensuring to give it to Him.
Develop a system so as to set aside your tithes always before doing anything else with your money.
Prayer:
- Father Lord, I acknowledge that I robbed You by not paying my tithes, by not setting Your 10% apart first. Lord help me to be consistent and systematic in setting apart my tithes and giving them to You. I pray that the blood of Jesus Christ may clear the curse away from my finances. I make a commitment before You Lord to give my tithes to You in Jesus Christ’s Name. Amen
Assignment :
- Get a book that you will use specifically for your financial records. Write down everything you earn and also every tithe.
- Buy a specific envelope in which you set apart your tithes as soon as you get money before spending any of it.
- Bring your tithes to the house of The Lord
