Hi there, today we are going to talk about worship.
Simply said, to worship is to have or express feelings of profound adoration.
As children or God, who do we ought to worship????-God Almighty of course.
GOD The Father, GOD The Son,  GOD The Holy Spirit.
Actually God created us out of love,  so that we would love Him and adore Him. It is such a precious,  loving and refreshing thing to dwell in His love and presence.
That being said,  you may ask yourself “how”  to adore God,  what to do and what not to do.  Sorry I am not going to give you a list of to-dos for your worshipping sessions. I will rather give you Scripture.

John 4:23-24 KJV
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. [24] God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

God wants us to worship Him in spirit and in truth. What does this mean? That only God’S Holy Spirit can lead you in worshipping, your own human traditions aren’t forcefully “the right way” of worshiping.
In spirit because true adoration stems from inside. It starts inside of you as God moves your heart to Him by His Holy Spirit.
In truth because it is pointless to “act” with God, to play a drama where you “behave as if” you worshipped Him while your heart isn’t even set on Him and you’ve got no interest in Him.

Isaiah 29:13 KJV
Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:

It is not the religious observances ; time during which you kneel down, the way you bend, the statuettes, the cross you carry on the neck, the headscarf you wear or don’t wear, religious rituals, or the number of times you repeat the same prayer which make your worship session a “true worship session”. It’s not because it is the “tradition” that it’s best.

Psalm 51:16-17 KJV
For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it : thou delightest not in burnt offering. [17] The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

It’s not by comparing how you worship to what you see when others worship around you, that you get closer to God.

1 Samuel 16:7 KJV
But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.

Conclusion ? Just abandon yourself to God as He leads you in worship. Truly present your heart to Him and He shall be the one to lead you in true adoration.
Religion doesn’t bring us closer to God, Jesus Christ does.
NB: I am not judging anyone.
May God lead us in His ways, in Jesus Christ’S Name, Amen.
