Hello beloved child of God, happy Easter 😊
This is the end of our Lenten season for 2019 but not the end of war against depression.
Through out this Lent I tried my best with The Help of The Holy Spirit to convey to you God’s love, and God’s power and ability to set you free. I shared with you how to track your thoughts and how to defeat depression.
Perhaps some of you have found joy and relief through out this program, while others may still feel sad and depressed.
In case you are still depressed, today I want you to know that there is still hope for you to be free from depression.
Luke 23:27 NIV
A large number of people followed him, including women who mourned and wailed for Him.
When the disciples saw their Saviour being nailed to The Cross they had lost all hope, they were broken, and their hearts were shattered, but on the third day, He rose again.
Luke 24:6-9 KJV
He is not here, but is risen: remember how He spake unto you when He was yet in Galilee, Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again. And they remembered His words, And returned from the sepulchre, and told all these things unto the eleven, and to all the rest.
If you’ve surrendered your life to Christ Jesus, the same Spirit who raised Jesus Christ from the dead is living in you right now and He’s not intending to leave.
This means the same resurrection power of Jesus Christ dwells in you through the person of The Holy Spirit.
No matter how much you’ve been broken by depression, no matter how much this condition stole from you (time, energy, peace, joy, money), God is able to restore it.
The same Holy Spirit who raised Jesus Christ from the dead lives in you and is able to bring back to life in you everything which died due to depression.
Romans 8:10-11 NIV
But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness. And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of His Spirit who lives in you.
Today I want you to remember that there is still hope and that you can turn to The Holy Spirit anytime to ask for help. He is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you.
Deuteronomy 31:6 NIV
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.”
He will heal you and He will restore you. Just be settled, believe Him when He says He is able to heal you, and keep declaring The Word over your life.
Prayer
Father Lord God Almighty, I thank You for everything which You’ve taught me throughout this Lenten season to fight depression. I thank You because the same Holy Spirit who raised Jesus Christ from the dead lives in me and He will resurrect every part of my heart, body, soul, spirit, life which died due to depression. Thank You Lord in Jesus Christ’s Name. Amen.
