Hi blessed one of God, I guess you’re enjoying the lent season in the best way possible in The Lord.
I probably already shared this with you previously. Growing up, I thought that lent was supposed to be a period of sadness in order to reflect the sufferings of Christ.
Anyhow, with time I’ve learned that lent is what you make of it so long as it’s in The Lord. Also, it’s a wonderful occasion to recall how joyful we should be for all that Christ has done in our lives.
This is probably why today, we’re going to break some “conventions” by rejoicing tremendously and/or dancing during Lent.
Enjoy the rythme and the lyrics of “Shake” by Mercy Me.
How does it feel to know that no matter when you started believing in Christ, no matter what your background is, you are allowed to rejoice because in Christ Jesus you are free?
This is something you have to be glad about. Something you have to rejoice for. God loves you, and cares for you. Even if you aren’t perfect yet He’s definitely at work in you and He’s gonna change what is to be changed.
1 John 5:13 NIV
I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.
Salvation isn’t something we can be casual about. It’s Good News, it’s wonderful. You should be excited about this.
John 3:16-17 NIV
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.
God loves you so much that He sent His only Son to die on The Cross for your sins. Never forget how precious and loved you are.
Exercise
Only exercise of the day: Rejoice about your salvation.
Prayer
Father Lord God Almighty, thank you so much for your love for me. Help me rejoice every single day for this wonderful new life which I have in Christ Jesus. Thank You Lord in Jesus Christ’s Name. Amen
