Hi everyone, hope you guys are all fine by God’S grace. Today’s topic is prayer.
Prayer is about talking to God and listening to Him. Praising Him, adoring Him, asking for His Help and guidance and so have you.
I was discussing with a friend recently and the person was kind of doubting that GOD would answer his prayers, in fact he more or less felt like he was disturbing God with his issues.
I should have told my friend “dear, GOD loves you so much, He delights in hearing your voice when you pray”
So, let’s look at Scriptures.
Luke 11:5-8, 13 KJV
And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves; [6] For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him? [7] And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee. [8] I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth. [13] If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
OK, GOD loves answering our prayers, GOD loves revealing Himself to us, GOD loves us. GOD loves you. Yeah He loves you. As such:
Luke 11:9 KJV
And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
So please, no matter the situation in which you are now, don’t say you are tired of praying, don’t say you have given up, in fact if you’ve really given up start back praying.
Ephesians 6:18 KJV
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
Persevere in prayer, and when you pray, expect a response.
Remember faith is taking God at His Word.
