LABOUR

Hi everyone, I hope you are all fine by God’S grace.
Today’s post is about labour/work.

John 9:4 KJV
I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

Jesus Christ was on earth to do the good works God had planned for Him to do on earth in a certain time : healings, deliverances, dying on The Cross of Calvary to save you and I from our sins. 
As Christians,  there are certain facts we ought to know about work/labour.
1. We aren’t on earth forever

Psalm 90:12 KJV
So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

The time we spend here on earth, we ought to use it well, in a way which glorifies God, and this by serving Him under the direction of His Holy Spirit.
2. He prepared good works for us before time

Ephesians 2:10 KJV
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Have you ever thought about the possibility that there’s one soul on earth which God has placed at a specific place in a specific time. A soul to whom only you can preach? In a time t God wants to send a message to that person and God has chosen just you to do so.
God knows all our days,  He has prepared way before time good works He wants us to do, let’s just surrender to Him and follow Him.
3. Working is a nice thing

Ecclesiastes 5:18 KJV
Behold that which I have seen: it is good and comely for one to eat and to drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labour that he taketh under the sun all the days of his life, which God giveth him: for it is his portion.

God isn’t against you working. Instead,  He wants your works to prosper and bear fruits, so that you rejoice and delight in the work you’ve done.
4.  Being lazy isn’t fine

2 Thessalonians 3:10 KJV
For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.
2 Thessalonians 3:8 KJV
Neither did we eat any man’s bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you:

So much as God permits us to work we shouldn’t be a burden to those around us, but we should work and in everything we do, glorify God.
There’s so much more to say about labour. Anyhow for today we’ll just end here.

May God Almighty bless every work we do, that it be for Christ Jesus, in Jesus Christ’S Name. Amen
