Hebrews 4:16 NIV
Hello blessed one of God, I hope you’ve had an awesome day in The Lord.
Today’s post is so special because as Christians we really want to do our best in life, to serve God honestly and to reflect His Glory. This is a pure and wonderful desire which however is always severely hurt each time we fall/fail.
We always have to remember that despite all our failures Jesus still shows grace towards us, that’s why in our imperfections we should not run away from Jesus but instead, we have to come to Him.

What is grace? Grace is an undeserved favour given freely.
God showed grace towards us when Jesus Christ died on The Cross for us while we were yet sinners. He still shows grace towards us today, when we call onto The Name of The Lord sincerely.
Romans 5:6‭-‬8 NIV

You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

God knows your imperfections, and He loves you anyway. That’s why no matter what happens, your reflex should be to run to Jesus just as you are.
You don’t have to be perfect and have it all together to turn to God.
Indeed, God loves you just the way you are. This doesn’t mean that you’re going to remain the same as you came. For sure God’s going to change a big deal of things about you, but though you’re not perfect (yet) He loves you.
Today, thank God for all His grace towards you, and don’t forget to come as you are. You don’t have to wear masks with God. Present yourself just the way you are, and His love will change you little by little, one step at a time.
Hebrews 4:16 NIV

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Exercise

1. List 3 imperfections which you have, bring them to God and tell Him that you come as you are.
2. Put your trust in God to heal you/help you/deliver you from these imperfections
3. Thank Him for loving you anyway

Prayer

Eternal Lord God King of Glory, thank You so much for loving me just the way I am. I bring all my flaws to you, my imperfections, I put them in Your hands Lord, and I trust You to transform me little by little in The Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
