GODLINESS

Hi everyone, I hope you are all fine by God’S grace.
Today’s post is about godliness.
Godliness is about living a moral life based on Christian principles ie living a Christ-filled life.
How are we supposed to live godly lives? What are our guidelines and standards for  godly lives?
The answers to these questions are found in The Bible

Titus 2:12 KJV
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

Although The Bible we shall see God show us His plan for out lives as His children.
Essentially, from these verses we can see that we should let go of worldly lusts daily, and focus on living a life which honours God.
The deeper we shall grow in His Word, the easier we shall prefer His Will to the world’s will

Psalm 119:9 KJV
Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word

Titus 2:13-14 KJV
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; [14] Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Prayer
Eternal Lord please show me those aspects in my life where I am not living a godly life, change me by Your Holy Spirit and wash me with Jesus Christ’S blood, in Jesus Christ’S Name I pray Amen.
I wish you the best in your walk in The Lord, draw closet to Him and He shall draw closer to you.
