Hello blessed child of God, I hope you’re fine by God’s grace.
Today, I’ll start with a question.
-Is there anything that God can’t solve?
I believe there’s nothing that God can’t solve. As Christians we know that no matter the bondage in which we are (disease, defeat, depression, addiction, sin etc etc.) Jesus can deliver us, because His Name is The Name above all names.
That’s what the song “Break Every Chain” by Jesus Culture reminds me.
In life, when we face really difficult situations it becomes extremely easy to feel completely desperate and to fall into the trap of believing that the situation will never improve, that t will never get better.
Perhaps you’re going through something right now. Perhaps like the woman with the bleeding issue, you’ve carried an issue for so long that it has already defined everything about how you see yourself and about how people see you. But let me ask you a few questions.
-Don’t you know Someone, who’s not afraid of difficult situations and who is completely able to turn around every situation for your good?
-Someone who has proved time and again that even the most desperate situation on earth can be resolved by Him?
I’m sure you know who I’m talking about. I’m talking about God The Father, God The Son, and God The Holy Spirit.
Luke 1:37 ESV
For nothing will be impossible with God.”
I know you may have suffered for so long already, and maybe you had given up all hope. But today, let me tell you that all hope is not lost, because there is power in The Name of Jesus.
Philippians 2:9-11 ESV
Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Call upon The Name of The Lord today, (and every day) with faith and for sure He’s going to break those chains off you, because Jesus died to set you, me and everyone who believes in Him, free.
John 8:34-36 ESV
Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who practices sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
Galatians 5:1 ESV
For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.
Remember what we said when we started this lent series? We talked about the one thing you want to change about yourself. This is the moment to call upon The Name of The Lord and see Him change that about you.
Exercise
- Think of one issue in your life which you’ve been trying to solve but which you never succeeded in solving. Something for which you almost even lost hope. Something which stopped u/ refrained you/ kept you in chains
- Sing along as you listen to “Break every chain” and let faith increase in your heart. Put all your trust in God to break your chains right here, right now, in The Name of Jesus .
Prayer
Father Lord God King of Glory, I thank You so much because there is power in The Name of Jesus to break all the chains which kept me captive. I trust You here and now, to break the chains which kept me captive till date, in Jesus Christ’s Name. Amen.
