Hi everyone, I hope you are all fine by God’S grace.
Today’s post is about firmness or steadfastness.
To be steadfast implies not changing your attitudes or aims, to refuse to move back, to refuse to change your opinions.
Let’s look at what The Bible says about this.

1 Corinthians 15:58 KJV
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

God’S Word is grace and truth unto us. When God reveals His Will to you in His Word ( to love Him with all your heart, soul, mind, being, and to love your neighbor as yourself) it’s for you to stick to it, to hold on firm, to dwell in His love every single day.
His Word is full of wise teachings and instructions for us, and when we learn His ways and receive them with joy, we want to draw closer and are enthusiastic to follow His Will.
Unfortunately for us Christians, we live in a world of opposition and or persecution.
We are different:
We preach love while others live for war
We are honest while others lie to us
We pray for people while they seem to love persecuting us
We want to obey God, they don’t believe in God
We have moral standards based on The Bible, they follow their hearts and lusts.
Yeah, we are really different from the world. The big issue is that when we are surrounded by people who live by the exact opposite of what we live by, who encourage us into sin, who discourage us from drawing near to God, who dance with what is evil and try to induce us in that, it isn’t easy to be firm and steadfast.
God knows we meet opposition everyday, Christians are soldiers of The Lord. God has equipped us to handle that with the help of His Holy Spirit.
God knows the environment in which you are today, the people who have/had a positive influence on you and those who try/tried to derail you.
Keep courage, in Christ Jesus there is not only forgiveness, but also Divine Providence, to abide in His commandments.
Next time you face opposition, remember that you are the salt of the world, everybody can fail in holding firm in his/her belief in God’S Word but you can’t fail. It’s through your life and good works that a testimony is made and may be many shall come to Christ.
We believe He loved us so much that He gave His life for us. Hold on to the truth which are found in His Word, they shall be your fuel, you shall do good works by His grace and in all His love He shall reward you.
Prayer
Eternal Lord, no matter the environment I am found in, help me stand firm in Your Word, in Jesus Christ’s Name I pray, Amen.
Please like, comment, share, God bless you.
